Who am I?

Hey there!  I’m Hrishikesh or Rishi, as most people call me.

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Sangli, right by the calm Krishna River, fondly known as the Turmeric City of Maharashtra. That’s where my story began, surrounded by fields, festivals, and a sense of community that stays with me even today.

These days, I live in Pune, a city that perfectly balances tradition and modernity. It’s where ideas, culture, and creativity come together, and it’s also where I find inspiration every day.

I graduated from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and later pursued my post-graduation from IIM Bangalore. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked with leading IT organizations across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on Project & Program Management, Customer Success, Process Consulting, and Delivery Governance. I enjoy helping businesses and startups build strong foundations, the kind that make their processes scalable, efficient, and people-friendly.

But beyond work, I’m someone who enjoys exploring life in all its forms.

In 2024, I trekked to the Everest Base Camp, a journey that changed my perspective completely. Standing at 17,600 feet, surrounded by the mighty Himalayas, I realized how much clarity comes from silence and how far discipline and consistency can take you. It wasn’t just about reaching a place, it was about rediscovering myself along the way.

I’m also a car enthusiast, completely fascinated by the engineering, design, and character behind every machine. From restoring classics to taking long drives through winding roads, cars have always been more than just vehicles for me; they’re emotions on wheels.

And then there’s my peaceful corner of the world, my farm in Pare, my native village near Sangli. That’s where my roots are.  I call myself an experimental farmer, always trying new things and practicing modern techniques, just to see how nature responds. Farming keeps me grounded. It reminds me that growth, whether in life or in soil, takes patience, care, and belief.

Apart from that, I love writing, photography, traveling, music, fitness, and learning about new technology and ideas. Every experience, whether it’s climbing a mountain, driving along the coast, or growing something from the earth, teaches me something new about balance, effort, and gratitude.

This website is my small space to bring all of that together, work, travel, thoughts, and the little things that make life special.
